The Greater Accra Region has the smallest area of Ghana’s 16 administrative regions, occupying a total land surface of 3,245 square kilometres. This is 1.4 per cent of the total land area of Ghana. It is the second most populated region, before the Ashanti Region, with a population of 5,455,692 in 2021, accounting for 17.7 per cent of Ghana’s total population.

The Mall was closed down by Accra Metropolitan Assembly for lack of requisite occupancy certificate. It was however opened for business.

West Hills Mall

The West Hills Mall is a shopping centre located at Dukonah, near Weija along the Accra – Cape Coast Highway in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

The West Hills Mall which was opened on 30 October 2014. It is jointly owned by Delico Property Development Limited (60 percent) and Ghana’s Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) (40 percent).

Achimota Retail Centre

The Achimota Retail Centre is a shopping centre located at Dome near the St. John’s Grammar School, along the Accra—Nsawam Highway in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The shopping centre is owned by Delico Achimota Limited, the same group that is the majority shareholder of West Hills Mall.

The construction of the mall began in April 2014 and was completed in October 2015 (exactly 18 months after). The edifice was opened to the public on 29 October 2015.

A&C Mall

The A&C Mall is a privately owned business that provides a set standard for mixed use retail shopping centres in Ghana. It is located in Greater Accra Region, Ghana at East Legon, Jungle Road after the American International School.

The mall is one of the biggest malls in West Africa. The property is owned by Delico Kumasi Limited, which is a fully owned subsidiary of Delico Property Investment Ghana limited, the same group that owns the Achimota Retail Center and is the Majority shareholder of West Hills Mall in Accra.

KNUST Jubilee Mall

The KNUST Jubilee Mall is located at Commercial Area; KNUST. It was built to enhance commercial activities in KNUST.

The Jubilee Mall, which cost US$4 million, was funded by the HFC Bank to serve the needs of the university and its neighbouring communities as well as the general public.

The mall has a lot of compartments which include a barbering salon, hair salon, a supermarket, an electrical appliances shop, a phone shop and a few others.
