Africa World Airlines

AWA (Africa World Airlines Limited) is a Ghanaian airline founded in 2010. it was a joint venture between SAS Finance, SSNIT, China-Africa Development Fund, and HNA Group. With over 600,000 passengers transported in 2019, it is Ghana’s largest airline, accounting for 68 percent of domestic passengers and 20 percent of all aviation passengers.

Gianair is a Ghanaian airline with headquarters in Accra and a primary base at Accra’s Kotoka International Airport.  Gianair was founded on May 29, 2009, and began flying in April of the following year. However, executive and private charter, as well as emergency medical rescue and ad hoc freight missions, are among the airline’s specialties.

As of March 2021, Gianair offers the following scheduled services.

Obuasi – Obuasi Airport
