NDC Youth Organiser loses 2 teeth in a free-for-all fight

The New Juaben South Constituency Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has lost two teeth as a result of a fight with the Eastern Regional Youth Organizer of the party, Richard Etornam Nyarku.

On Saturday, May 23, 2023, this took place during the opposition party’s parliamentary primaries.Despite being largely peaceful, there were isolated incidents of violence during the nationwide exercise.

According to reports, the New Juaben South Constituency Youth Organizer, also known as Rolex, accused the Regional Youth Organizer of the Eastern Region of ordering delegates at the center to vote for a specific candidate.

The Regional Youth Organizer was angered by Rolex’s accusations and statements, which led to heated discussions among the Youth leaders.

The Constituency Youth Organiser was struck hard on the chin and knocked out cold by Nyarku during the altercation and ensuing heated emotions.

Later, Rolex regained consciousness and made an attempt to strike back, but the police intervened and took them both away.

He reportedly lost two teeth, and the regional youth coordinator suffered only minor wounds. They were each taken into custody at the Koforidua Central Police Station.
