Anthony Jay Robbins is an American author, coach, lecturer, and philanthropist. His infomercials, seminars, and self-help books, such as Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Within, are well recognized. Robbins, a well-known expert in the field of leadership psychology, has started charitable organizations, raised money for charities, and worked to end child trafficking and slavery.

Tony Robbins: Who is he?
On February 29, 1960, Anthony J. Mahavoric, the son of Nikki Robbins and John Mohorovic, was born in North Hollywood, California. His parents separated when he was seven years old; he was the oldest of three kids. From both sides of his family, he is Croatian.
Robbins graduated from Glendora High. His family environment was described as “chaotic” and “abusive” by him. He left home when he was 17 and never came back.He skipped college and later worked as a janitor.
Robbins’ Career
When he was 17 years old, Robbins started advertising seminars for the author and motivational speaker Jim Rohn. He then acquired firewalking skills and used it in his presentations.
Breakthrough with Tony Robbins was a reality program that debuted on NBC in July 2010 and followed Robbins as he assisted the show’s contestants in overcoming their own obstacles. After showing only two of the six planned episodes, NBC canceled the program due to the low audience of 2.8 million. The show was renewed by the OWN Network for a second season in March 2012, with the first season’s original episodes slated to be reruns and the second season of 2012 following immediately after.
In 2014, Robbins partnered with a group of financiers to get the rights to establish the Los Angeles Football Club, a Major League Soccer franchise, in Los Angeles. The group participated in the contest in 2018.
In 2014, he used Feeding America to distribute meals to those in need by donating the proceeds of his book, Money: Master the Game, along with an additional personal donation. Robbins collaborates with Spring Health, a water provider that supplies clean water to rural areas of eastern India in an effort to stave off waterborne illnesses.
