Channing Matthew Tatum is an American actor, producer and dancer well-known his role in various movies. He became more well-known for his leading roles in the comedies She’s the Man (2006), Magic Mike (2012), Magic Mike XXL (2015), and Magic Mike’s Last Dance (2023), all of which he also produced, as well as the comedies 21 Jump Street (2012) and 22 Jump Street (2014).

Who is Channing Tatum
Tatum was born on April 26, 1980, in Cullman, Alabama, to construction worker Glenn Tatum and airline employee Kay Tatum. His ancestry is primarily English.
When he was six years old, his family relocated to the Pascagoula, Mississippi region. He was raised in a remote area among the bayous close to the Pascagoula River. Tatum played baseball, football, soccer, track, and other sports growing up; according to him, “girls were always [his] biggest distraction in school.” He learned wuzuquan kung fu as a kid.
Tatum initially attended Gaither High School and spent the majority of his adolescence there. He picked Tampa Catholic High School, where he graduated in 1998 and was named most athletic, because his parents wanted him to put in more work. Career
Following an audition in Orlando, Florida, in 2000, Tatum was hired as a dancer for Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs” music video; the $400 pay was his first professional gig. He got his start in the business modeling for prestigious companies like Armani and Abercrombie & Fitch.
Tatum made his movie debut in the 2005 drama Coach Carter, and his breakout performance came in the 2006 dancing movie Step Up.
Additionally, Tatum co-directed, produced, and starred in the road movie Dog (2022). He was listed as one of the 100 most influential persons in the world by Time magazine in 2022.
