  • Specific Objectives:

By the end of this lesson the pupil will be able to:

  • Explain the concept of input devices.
  • Identify at least three input devices.
  • Provide some of the functions of the input devices given.

Instructional Materials: The teacher make use of the school ICT laboratory.

Entry behaviour: The teacher asks the pupils questions based on the topic he/she wants to teach or based on the previous lesson.

Instructional Procedure:

  • The teacher introduces the topic.
  • The teacher writes the topic on the board.
  • The teacher explains the topic to the pupils.
  • The teacher writes notes on the board for the pupils to copy.
  • The teacher gives examples for pupils to relate to such topic.

Evaluation: The teacher assesses the pupils based on the topic being thought to them by asking them questions about the topic.

Closure/Summary: The teacher summarizes the topic by going through it again and lay emphasis on the key facts. This helps to give a proper and better understanding on the topic.
