An Australian football player, Ginnivan, was born on December 9, 2002, in Melbourne, started playing the football at an early age and soon ascended through the ranks to become one of the most talented players of his generation.

Ginnivan scored five goals in his tenth professional game on Anzac Day in 2022, earning him the Anzac Medal for greatest on-field performance and the Rising Star nomination for round 6. He immediately rose to prominence and became a contentious player as his second season went on after developing a reputation with the media and opposing fans.
During the latter part of his second season, Ginnivan endured a good deal of jeers from opposing supporters. In one particularly memorable occasion, Sydney supporters jeered Ginnivan after he left the game due to an injury, earning them a great deal of media ire.
Ginnivan still competes for Melbourne City as of the beginning of 2023, and is regarded as one of the squad’s most crucial players. He has made 26 appearances in all competitions and scored 11 goals, giving Melbourne City a solid start to the 2022–2023 season.
