Dr. Eric Nkansah was employed at the Ghanaian branch of Barclays Bank from 2013 until 2017 as the Sales Manager. Dr. Eric Nkansah earned a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of Zululand in South Africa.

Before being appointed, Dr. Eric Nkansah was the Director in charge of Tertiary Education at the Ministry of Education. He began working for the Ministry of Education in April 2021 after more than eight years as a senior lecturer at Kumasi Technical University. He made significant contributions to teaching, program creation, research, and community service at Kumasi Technical University, all of which helped the institution grow.
Additionally, Dr. Eric Nkansah held the position of Executive Director at Career Spring Institute, a private consulting company authorized to offer training to current and potential participants in national and international professional programs as well as specialized training to small, medium, and large corporations.
